Inclusion Support
We provide an inclusive environment to support student’s individual learning and social and emotional needs. Classrooms are inclusive environments providing students with modelled positive coping and emotional regulation strategies using the Zones of Regulation program, mindfulness, Christian meditation and brain breaks.
In collaboration with assistant teachers and families, teachers develop Education Adjustment Plans to target needs of students who require supplementary to extensive adjustments. The school facilitates access to appropriate internal and external support services for students with inclusive needs. A specifically resourced room, containing a variety of sensory tools, provides a calm space where students are able to relax and be supported while meeting their sensory needs.​
Students have access to a counsellor from Catholic Care at school once a week.
